Tsa Corporation

Tsa and its subsidiary companies are wholly owned by the members of the Łutsel K’e Dene First Nation. Located on the east arm of the Great Slave Lake this community’s members are signatories to Treaty 8 and its vast traditional lands are host to three currently operating diamond mines, the former Giant gold mine and numerous rare earth and critical mineral deposits which are actively being explored.

Tsa was created to pursue opportunities earmarked for the communities under its various impact benefit and participation agreements with the operating mines.

Denesołine Corporation Ltd. (DCL)

DCL is the entity through which the Companies evaluates new business opportunities and enters into strategic industry partnerships in the pursuit of economic opportunities for the Nation. Historically these opportunities have been related to providing goods and services to the natural resource extraction companies operating in the NWT. Moving forward we will be looking to broaden our view; both sectorial and geographic.

Denesołine Community Development Corporation (DCDC)

Besed in Łutselk K’e, DCDC operates a cafe in the community’s Z’ha Lockhart community hall. The cafe operates daily providing coffee, meals and a welcoming place for community members to gather and enjoy each others company.

Ta’egera Company (TC)

TC holds and manages the real estate and infrastructure assets owned by the company in Lutsel K’e and Yellowknife. Current assets include an office complex and a forestry base in Łutsel K’e and an industrial complex in Yellowknife.

Unico Contractors (UC)

UC is first acquisition of an operating company by  the Companies. Unico has a 40 year track record of success providing building envelope solutions for homes and business across the North. The Companies intend to build on this legacy to provide training and employment opportunities for its members.

Tsa Housing (TH)

TH is a newly formed Not-for-Profit corporation whose mandate is to secure funding and deliver housing solutions for the community of Lutsel K’e.
