New Community Bed & Breakfast
In August of 2025 the community of Lutsel K’e enjoyed the opening of a large, modern Co-Op store, and in doing so, left its original location vacant. Working in collaboration with the Co-op Management, an agreement has been struck for DCL to take control of the building and transform it into a seven bedroom, seven bathroom bed and breakfast. Ground breaking is anticipated to occur the fourth quarter of calendar 2025 and occupancy is targeted for the second quarter of calendar 2026.
Thaidene National Park Visitor and Administration Centre
- In 2019, after decades of negotiation, the governments of Canada, Northwest Territories and Łutsel K’e Dene First Nation, signed the establishment agreement creating the Thaidene Nene National Park.
- Tsa is the intended owner and operator of the the facilities which will welcome visitors to the area and house the various team members who will steward the park for future generations.
- Yellowknife based, Taylor Architecture Group has been retained by the company to develop a design which accommodates the programming needs of Parks Canada, GNWT and Łutsel K’e Dene First Nation.
- This iterative process includes ongoing input from from LKDFN community members.
